A single father, Monty (Idris Elba) is desperately trying to win custody of his three young daughters back from his corrupt, drug-dealing ex-wife. Enlisting the help of Julia (Gabrielle Union), a beautifu, hard-nosed attorney, the two are surprised when an unexpected romance blossoms…and it soon begins to feel like true love.
